Travel

Costa Brava can be easily reached from Barcelona driving on the the AP7 highway towards France and taking exit 9 towards SantFeliu de Guixols and S’Agaró.

Passport Validity

Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of departure from Spain.

Language

While Spanish is widely spoken, especially in tourist areas, Catalan is the official language of Catalonia.

Currency

The currency used in Spain is the Euro (€). It's advisable to have some cash on hand. Many banks offer currency exchange services for their customers. You can order euros in advance and pick them up at your local branch.

Siesta
